SPIRITUAL CONSCIOUSNESS

As a matter of fact, you can practice your own religion with more awareness, love and sincerity of purpose when you are more spiritually conscious. If you have peace you have everything. Peace means you know because you know.It means you have a handle on what makes you and everyone else tick. See, ANALYZING PEOPLE My background of 25 years in fundamental religion and over 20 years in ACIM along with studies in the Tao, Kybalion has given me a fairly good base of wisdom. All are beneficial experiences, especially the fundamental religion, I learned a lot about myself, especially since it was a huge ego trip: I went to weekly prayer meetings, church 2 times each Sunday, choir practice, home Visitation, teaching Sunday school, etc. I mean, ego in that I was constantly in judgment and very proud of where I was on the totem pole. It became my business to keep an eye on those who were, in my mind, beneath me. I kept my finger on their spiritual pulse monitoring ,everyone and everything... All of this caused me to question how I was feeling inside, about myself. After all, I was doing all this in the holy name of God, wasn't I? It was a inner battle of right vs wrong, do's vs don't's, mentality. All this ended when I awakened to who I really am and I became open to a better way to see. In 1988, I attended a meditation group who were studying ACIM. (A Course In Miracles) The first 2 lessons were ah ha moments. I suddenly saw what the missing link was. It was magical, the freedom I had, felt so good , and it felt so right . It was the beginning of peace and of spiritual freedom unparalleled in my life. I learned truth needs no defense, it just is. Truth sneaks up on you through the back door of your consciousness. One minute you don't see and the next you do see. And what you see feels good, loving and right. It isn't fearful, it blames no one, it needs no one to put up barriers or fences of deep explanations. It says what you can't understand and leaves your reaction in your hands. If you stick with what you don't understand, soon all becomes crystal clear. That's the magic of it all.
